About the role
About Papaya Global
Papaya Global is a rapidly growing, award-winning B2B tech unicorn with an ambitious mission to revolutionize the payroll & payments industry. With over $400M raised from multiple tier-one investors, our innovative technology provides a comprehensive solution for managing global workforces, encompassing everything from hiring and onboarding to managing and paying employees in over 160 countries.Job Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead AI initiatives across Papaya’s platform and go-to-market engine. You will embed intelligent capabilities into our core products — across payroll, payments, and workforce operations — and build AI-powered revenue engines that make our sales and GTM machine faster, smarter, and more scalable. You will bring a strong understanding of sales processes, revenue operations, and commercial strategy alongside your technical skills. You will collaborate closely with engineering, RevOps, sales, and customer success to deliver AI products with measurable business impact.Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for AI-powered capabilities across Papaya’s platform and AI revenue engines that serve Sales, RevOps, and leadership.
- Identify high-impact opportunities to embed AI into our products — smarter automation, intelligent decision support, and enhanced customer experiences.
- Build and ship AI-powered sales intelligence, collateral generation, and deal acceleration products.
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Map sales workflows end-to-end and identify where AI removes bottlenecks and replaces legacy tools with scalable alternatives.
- Drive adoption and prove ROI — use analytics, KPIs, and user research to evaluate product performance and inform prioritization.
- Partner with engineering, design, operations, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time and at scale.
- Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and prioritize features that deliver measurable value.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or a high-growth tech company.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, revenue operations, and go-to-market strategy — you think commercially, not just technically.
- Experience working with or within RevOps, Sales, or GTM teams — you understand how revenue is generated, measured, and optimized.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML-powered products — both customer-facing features and internal tools.
- Technical aptitude: comfortable with APIs, data pipelines, and automation frameworks — you can speak engineering without being an engineer.
- Proven track record of taking products from 0→1 in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Data-driven: you define success metrics before building, measure relentlessly, and kill what doesn’t work.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable presenting to senior leadership and pairing with engineers in the same day.
