Purpose of Position
The Data Business Analyst will join the Transformation Delivery team to support organizational change. This role is permanent and provides the opportunity to engage with multiple levels of the business, supporting projects ranging from strategy and architecture to systems development and implementation. The candidate will work on key data-focused projects, including Data Warehouse changes and broader transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Run workshops to gather reporting and analytical requirements.
- Create detailed requirements documents and data maps.
- Establish data rules, process flows, and entity relationships.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to validate solutions.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and progress reporting.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Candidates must have a strong background in large data projects using tools like Power BI, SQL, Excel, Azure Data Bricks, Informatica, and ETL platforms. Experience with backlog management (Azure DevOps or Jira), business transformation, waterfall and agile life cycles, and stakeholder management is essential. Familiarity with financial services, particularly in Private Equity or Fund Management, is highly desirable.
