Job Description
Chinese Community Manager
We are looking for an experienced, Chinese-speaking Community Manager to activate, engage, and grow PancakeSwap's Chinese community. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Chinese crypto communities, understand DeFi communities and users, and have a proven track record of driving community growth and engagement in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Activate and grow PancakeSwap's Chinese community through organic growth and community-driven initiatives.
- Act as a representative of PancakeSwap, participating in Chinese community channels, discussions, and AMAs to promote and advocate for our products, brand, and ecosystem.
- Plan and execute Chinese community events, including community operations projects, AMAs, online events, and local offline meetups, and be responsible for clear growth and engagement outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with crypto projects, communities, and ecosystem partners to enhance community activity and user engagement.
- Be responsible for PancakeSwap Chinese Ambassadors, supporting local community building, content projects, and event execution.
- Act as a bridge between PancakeSwap's Chinese community and internal teams, systematically providing feedback on community and product-related information to drive PancakeSwap's growth and success.
- Collaborate with Chinese content creators and KOLs to jointly produce high-quality, viral community content.
- Track community performance and provide weekly reports, including community activities, engagement metrics, community sentiment, and actionable insights.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in community management within the DeFi or crypto industry.
- Language Proficiency: Native Chinese speaker with the ability to communicate effectively in English for work.
- Familiarity with Chinese crypto communities, the DeFi space, and community growth models.
- Proficiency in community and social platforms such as Discord, Telegram, X, and related tools.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
