Job Description
Role Overview: Head of Information Technology at Pamalican Asset Management
Pamalican Asset Management is seeking a hands-on Head of Information Technology to take full ownership and build out the entire technology stack. This critical role involves both strategic direction and direct development work, focusing on robust integration, data management, and the creation of essential tools for investment and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate Enfusion (PMS) with brokers, custodians, administrators, and underlying managers to facilitate seamless day-to-day data flows.
- Develop custom tools and dashboards to empower investment and operations teams, specifically for:
- Tracking and escalating breaks, fails, and corporate actions, minimizing reliance on manual reconciliations.
- Managing treasury/financing functions by providing clear visibility into funding, margin, and liquidity at both platform and individual manager levels.
- Monitoring PnL, exposure, risk limits, and performance metrics on a granular, manager-level basis to ensure strict adherence to limits.
- Providing consistent views across manager sleeves and strategies, with support for detailed drill-downs into positions and risk factors.
- Generating standard and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external investors efficiently.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database that aggregates historical and real-time manager data to feed critical risk systems, reporting tools, and manager reviews.
- Create an intuitive risk portal for internal use, with future expansion to allow underlying managers to view their portfolios and risk from the platform's perspective.
- Manage and mentor a small team of interns, fostering their growth while actively contributing to production-grade code development.
- Strategically leverage existing PMS and RMS systems and develop internal applications utilizing low-code/no-code frameworks, such as Retool, to accelerate development.
