About the Role: Senior User Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a high-autonomy Senior User Acquisition Manager to join our Paid Search Squad. You will be instrumental in dominating the Google Ads ecosystem to significantly grow Simple's business. Your role will involve managing massive budgets and challenging ROAS targets, with the freedom to innovate and experiment. You will own the end-to-end performance of Google inventory, pioneering expansion into visual placements for both static and video content. We need a Senior User Acquisition Manager who excels at creative testing, audience signal analysis, and scaling campaigns effectively while maintaining ROAS. Even if your Google Ads experience is lighter but you have a proven track record scaling other ad platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok), we encourage you to apply.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Scaling of Paid UA: Develop, execute, and master your strategy to hit KPIs across current and new business branches, building and owning a scalable UA engine on Google and beyond.
  • Extreme Ownership & Prioritization: Own the goals, not just the tasks. Define the 'How' with provided resources and 'Why', driving solutions to blockers without micro-management.
  • Lead Creative Testing Frameworks: Build and manage predictable, scalable frameworks for testing thousands of creatives, identifying winning strategies and replicating success at scale.
  • Aggressive Budget & ROAS Management: Be responsible for dynamically allocating budgets to maximize ROAS, deciding the optimal placement for every dollar.
  • Creative & MarTech & Growth Collaboration: Guide creative team focus, forecast asset delivery, write technical requirements for MarTech, and collaborate with Growth to enhance UA efficiency.
  • Data Deep-Dives & Growth Execution: Immerse yourself in metrics, investigating LTV, monetization, and web funnels to diagnose and address UA-related issues. Proactively question 'Why?' any number changes.
  • Analytics Mastery (SQL & Dashboards): Be data-literate, capable of SQL querying for specific data slices and building custom dashboards, leveraging the support of an excellent Analytics team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of managing substantial monthly budgets (starting from $300k/mo) and optimizing them for performance.
  • Deep experience with web funnels, including tracking, attribution, and conversion optimization.
  • Google Ads Mastery, with a thorough understanding of the tech stack, and valuable experience with other ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.).
  • Significant experience in the US market, plus a proven ability to diversify and scale in non-US regions.
  • Proficiency in GA, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, or similar analytics/attribution platforms.
  • Data Hunger: Comfortable using BI platforms like Looker or Superset and collaborating with an Analytics team for complex data needs.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, building solutions when roadmaps change or new problems arise without clear answers.
  • Strong communication skills to 'sell' ideas to cross-functional teams (Growth, Creative, MarTech, Analytics) and negotiate priorities.
  • A proactive mindset, willing to challenge managers and flag broken processes, giving and receiving honest, direct feedback.
  • A business owner's perspective, understanding how UA impacts LTV, product retention, and the overall business bottom line.
