Your Career

This is a highly visible, senior level position on a small but growing team. The ideal Principal Escalation Engineer combines customer management with a broad technical skillset in telecommunication equipment, Internet traffic, and network troubleshooting.

Your Impact

  • Intercept and manage critical technical escalations.
  • Engage with executive levels at customer organizations.
  • Clarify technical issues and root causes during escalations.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a BE/B.Tech or equivalent technical graduation, significant support service experience, and proven technical leadership in network security or related fields.

Required Technical Skills

  • Configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • L1-L3 (ISO model) troubleshooting expertise.
  • In-depth analysis of Internet applications and protocols.
  • Troubleshooting VPNs (IPSec and SSL tunnels).
  • PCAP analysis using Wireshark and similar tools.
  • Hardware troubleshooting for telecommunications equipment.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python is an asset.

Certifications & Additional Experience

Advanced certifications (JNCIE, CCIE, etc.) and cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) are highly regarded.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary is in the range of $147,000/YR to $202,500/YR, complemented by bonuses, restricted stock units, and extensive employee benefits.
