Job Summary
The Manager, Technical Project Management will be a member of the Global Consulting Operations team and will be primarily responsible for supporting large and complex consulting engagements and security transformation programs for targeted EMEA clients. The individual will report directly to the Senior Manager for Unit 42 Security Consulting Project Management and partner with Unit 42 leadership and Security Consulting PMO to lead GCO programs and projects. The Manager, Technical Program Management will also be expected to support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and Proactive Services engagements, based on EMEA program, project and PMO business needs. They will also manage a small team of 3 Technical Program Managers in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Has cybersecurity and security transformation experience across diverse sectors, industries and markets throughout Europe (in EMEA).
- Has experience operating at technical and CxO levels.
- Has appropriate consulting, project, change management and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management experience, to gain credibility and trust with complex stakeholders.
- Experience in partnering with 3rd party vendors and partners.
- Has the ability to lead, influence and drive outcomes in complex projects.
- Has a solid background in project methodology and process.
- Has the ability to build successful relationships with cross-organizational leaders to achieve mutually successful results.
- Recognize scope changes across projects and can drive scope-versus-schedule/budget discussions to conclusion.
- Recognize project or system-wide risks and create associated risk management plans.
- Recognize and Identify issues and risks related to project or and overall health of the client; Create associated Risk Management plans and ensure any identified issues/risks are escalated to the project Engagement Lead/Sponsor as needed.
- Manage multiple projects effectively by defining schedules and goals based on Statements of Work (SOWs) and communicating directly with clients where needed.
- Maintain and update status reports for external clients and customers.
- Partner and guide technical team members to accomplish project goals and objectives, ensuring execution of project tasks, and monitoring progress to completion.
- Partner with the Engagement Lead to ensure the projects adhere to budget and time frame guidelines.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Professional Services team’s skill sets.
- Partner with consulting leadership with any staffing needs for each project.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for each project.
- Partner with Engagement Lead to look for opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships.
- Comfortable with managing customer expectations and dealing with conflict.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in Project Management, focusing in one or more of the following: Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, or Software Defined Lifecycle (SDLC)/Infrastructure or other IT related technical environments.
- Ability to lead multiple large-scale projects creating project plans and ensuring on-time task execution and documentation.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, solve problems requiring meticulous attention to detail, multitask, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of our client organizations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong proficiencies with Google Suite, Asana, and Clarizen preferred.
- Previous direct client/customer consulting experience preferred.
