Opportunity Overview
Our client is an award-winning production company creating chart-topping documentary content for leading broadcasters and global brands. This role supports a flagship true crime YouTube series, producing consistent, story-led graphics that evolve carefully from the established season-one visual language.
Role Description
Weβre looking for a Graphic Designer/Editor to join our clientβs team. You will create and maintain a library of broadcast-ready PSD graphics for a true crime series, based on existing templates and episode briefs. This includes corkboard scenes, folders, infographics, maps, portraits, quotes, text elements and lower thirds, with clean file structure for archive and handover into After Effects. Remote work within a similar time zone to GMT is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Broadcast Graphics Production β Create episode graphics in Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects, aligned to season-one styling.
- Template Recreation & Handover β Rebuild missing assets and provide editable templates for future episodes.
- Corkboard & Archive Builds β Assemble layered corkboard scenes using provided archive materials and structured compositions.
- Lower Thirds & Text Treatment β Design and package lower thirds, quotes and text elements for editorial use.
- Brief-Based Iteration β Work from producer documents to apply requested highlights, updates and story-led refinements.
- File Packaging & Delivery β Deliver linked, organised PSD projects and source folders for archive and client handoff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Adobe Suite Mastery β Strong hands-on experience with Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Layered PSD Craft β Proven ability to deliver clean, editable layered PSDs suitable for AE import and animation.
- Visual Consistency β Experience maintaining an established visual system and evolving it under producer direction.
- Remote Reliability β High-spec laptop and reliable internet; able to work close to GMT time zone.
- Production Collaboration β Comfortable working with episode briefs, feedback loops and tight turnaround requirements.
Bonus Qualifications
- True Crime / Documentary Style β Experience designing for documentary, investigative, or true crime content.
- Archival Collage Aesthetic β Familiarity with evidence-board, dossier, and archive-driven visual storytelling.
