About the role
Legal Counsel - Palex España
Palex Group, a leader in the hospital sector, is seeking a talented, proactive Legal Counsel with a desire for growth to join our Legal Department in Spain. We operate in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Counsel, your main responsibilities will include:
Legal and Contractual Advice
- Support M&A operations in coordination with external lawyers.
- Collaborate with commercial teams in negotiating and signing distribution agreements with suppliers.
- Review and manage various types of contracts (commercial, civil, lease, confidentiality, etc.).
- Monitor and track signed contracts using the contract management platform.
Regulatory Management and Compliance
- Provide legal advice to the group's various departments and commercial divisions.
- Support the functions of the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Spanish group companies.
- Assist the Data Protection Officer and the Compliance department.
Supervision and Litigation
- Coordinate the monitoring and control of patents, trademarks, and utility models with external lawyers.
- Manage and supervise judicial and extrajudicial proceedings involving the company.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Degree in Law.
- Master's degree specializing in Business or Corporate Law.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial department of a law firm or in corporate legal advisory.
Languages
- Fluent English (C1 level) is essential.
