Original Job Summary
Overview
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency connecting top-tier talent with great companies. As a Full Stack Developer, you will lead the development of the MVP and early product, responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the core platform including real-time routing, embedded video infrastructure, and frontend widget/console experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the real-time dispatch system using Redis or similar technologies.
- Integrate and/or build WebRTC video infrastructure (LiveKit, Daily, or Twilio).
- Build backend services, APIs, and data models powering the platform.
- Develop a responsive frontend widget and agent console using modern frameworks like React.
- Ship the first usable product quickly and iterate with real users.
- Collaborate closely with the founder on product strategy and feature decisions.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of real-time systems including WebSockets, WebRTC, pub/sub, and Redis.
- Experience with Node.js, Go, or similar backend stacks, Postgres, and Redis.
- Strong frontend skills with React or a similar framework.
- Experience architecting and shipping end-to-end SaaS products.
- Experience with AWS, Fly.io, CloudFront, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable in zero-to-one startup environments and fast iteration cycles.
Bonus
Prior experience with video, chat, or live routing systems is a plus.
