General Purpose

The IT Support After Hours role is a remote position serving as the first point of contact for internal employees during after-hours support times. You will answer incoming calls, create support tickets, troubleshoot IT issues, and escalate complex problems.

Essential Duties

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or chat.
  • Log and track support requests in a helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Install and update software applications and hardware peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including VPN and Wi-Fi problems.
  • Educate end-users on best practices and self-help procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues and collaborate with IT teams for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with a preference for IT certifications such as CompTIA A+. Proven customer-facing support experience, strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, and familiarity with office productivity software are required.
