Responsibilities
As a Post Doctorate Research Associate - Mathematics, you will join the Computational Mathematics Group, renowned for its work in combinatorial algorithms, optimization, and data-driven methods. Your responsibilities include:
- Develop new approaches for analyzing massive graphs and hypergraphs.
- Apply probabilistic methods to design and analyze randomized algorithms.
- Design graph-based approaches for scientific machine learning.
- Develop and optimize high-performance numerical algorithms.
- Collaborate with a diverse team across scientific disciplines.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and present findings in conferences.
- Participate in research proposal development.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications include a PhD received within the past five years or soon to be received within the next 8 months. Preferred qualifications include a strong background in discrete mathematics, graph theory, probability, and experience in applying advanced graph methods and Graph Neural Networks.
