Department Overview
The Contract Financials Coordinator team manages construction and support contracts for Gas Construction, ensuring accurate cost booking, compliance, and vendor payments for over 1,000 contracts and more than $1.1 billion in volume.
Position Summary
The Supervisor, Contract Administration Gas will lead a team of contract financials coordinators supporting Gas Construction. The role involves overseeing contract cost recording, compliance with standards such as SOX and US GAAP, invoice processing, and reporting. You will work with internal stakeholders including Sourcing, PCA, Functional Area, and Business Finance to enforce contract terms, drive process improvements, and manage team performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee contract cost recording, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, US GAAP, and internal standards.
- Collaborate with Sourcing and other departments for audits and invoicing.
- Develop goal tracking systems for team performance.
- Manage staff workload, recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
- Identify process improvements and control contract-related costs.
- Occasional travel and extended work hours as required.
Qualifications
Minimum: High School diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience.
Desired: Prior supervisory experience, financial data analysis, contract administration expertise (invoice matching, accruals, etc.), and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
