Job Description

Are you ready to harness the power of data to drive advances in healthcare? As a Senior Data Engineer at PA Consulting, you will design, build and maintain data infrastructure that plays a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes and shaping the future of medicine. This multi-year, project-based opportunity involves building and growing a clinical data registry platform with a dedicated team of collaborators and customers.

Your Day to Day

  • Designing and constructing Big Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
  • Building, managing, and automating ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Developing dynamic, metadata driven pipelines and analyses.
  • Working in Agile and DevOps environments with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Ensuring robust data interfaces and transformation for analytics.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: At least 6 years of industry experience, advanced SQL and Python skills, expertise in Big Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, pipeline development, and cloud experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spark/PySpark, Agile/DevOps methodologies, additional scripting skills (Bash or PowerShell), data modelling, and data visualization tools. Certifications in cloud and data engineering are a plus.

Additional Information
