Job Overview
The Commercial Finance Analyst works within the Commercial Finance team supporting the Commercial Finance Managers with business partnering and control of Business Units. This role focuses on timely reporting, variance analysis, budget reviews, revenue recognition, SOX compliance and support for ad-hoc financial projects alongside continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial, operational, and strategic support to GTM leads and partners.
- Prepare monthly reporting, variance analysis, forecasts, and budget analysis.
- Support revenue recognition and subcontractor cost accruals.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and maintain SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex commercial issues.
What We Look For
- Proactive problem solver with strong analytical and commercial skill set.
- Ability to work independently and influence day-to-day decisions.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong communicator comfortable with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Interest or progress towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
Additional Information
This role offers hybrid working; a minimum of 2 days in the office or client site per week. Applicants must meet UK residency and security clearance requirements.
