As part of its growth strategy, P4I – Partners4Innovation is looking for a Junior Consultant IT Security Intern in Milan and Rome, with the aim of permanent employment. Are you passionate about cybersecurity and digital innovation? At P4I – Partners4Innovation, we are seeking a curious and motivated individual for an internship within the IT & CyberSecurity Governance team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants on projects that help companies strengthen their security posture, manage cyber risks, and promote a conscious and widespread security culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Preliminary analysis of the information security status at client companies, also in relation to reference standards like ISO/IEC 27001.
- Collaboration in drafting policies, guidelines, and procedures for security management.
- Support in preparing compliance plans for industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act).
- Participation in working groups dedicated to improving security processes and managing protection measures.
- Support for Project Management activities, with a focus on planning and monitoring initiatives.
- Contribution to gathering and organizing client needs and preparing presentation materials or project documentation.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Interest and curiosity towards cybersecurity and digital innovation topics.
- Good analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Propensity for teamwork and good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of main Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of the English language.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge (acquired in university or through courses) on standards and regulations regarding information security and privacy (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Knowledge of risk analysis and management methodologies.
- Fundamentals of network and information system security.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines.
- Alternatively, attendance or completion of a master’s or specialized course in Cybersecurity.
- Any prior experience (university projects, internships, project work) in IT or Security will be a plus.
