Food Studies Assistant
Commencement Date: Immediate start (Term 2)
Full Time, Ongoing
Join our Christ-centred learning community as a Food Studies Assistant, supporting students and staff through practical service, hospitality, and a heart for excellence in Christian education.
The role supports the Food Studies teacher by preparing for classes, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations and maintaining clean, safe workstations.
Responsibilities
- Lesson setup and cleanup
- Ordering and managing stock
- Supporting catering for school events
Requirements
- Commitment to the mission and values of Oxley Christian College
- An understanding of the Oxley Christian College context and requirements for ensuring child safety
- Current or willing to acquire HLTAID009 Provide CPR and HLTAID0011 Provide First Aid certificates (previously 001 and 003)
- Current or willing to complete Anaphylaxis Awareness training
- Current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check and National Police Certificate
- A relevant food handling qualification
