Position Details
This seasonal role is located at Yorkdale Shopping Centre from October 2025 until January 2026, with the possibility of extension. Flexible availability is required with a minimum of 3 days per week including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Proactively create memorable guest interactions and exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with directions and information, ensuring professionalism and care.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of center services, amenities, stores, and promotional events.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with retailers.
- Stay updated on fashion trends to offer tailored gift or store suggestions.
- Deliver services offered at the Guest Experience locations including selling the Yorkdale Gift Card.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school education required; post-secondary preferred in Hospitality or Marketing/Communications.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Positive, friendly, proactive and solution-focused attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual preferred.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Proficiency with social media, Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to engage in physical activities like standing, walking, and lifting.
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
