Overview

The High School Math Education Coordinator role is offered by Oxford Learning Centres Inc. This part-time, in-person position is for experienced educators with grade 10-12 math teaching experience in Ontario, specifically near Oakville, Mississauga, or within a 20-minute commute from Dundas and Trafalgar.

Job Details

This role requires you to be on-site with no option for online work or relocation assistance. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Inform parents about Oxford Learning programs.
  • Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers.
  • Set up and administer assessments.
  • Oversee and establish student learning programs.
  • Liaise with community members including schools, sports teams, and local businesses.
  • Maintain regular contact with parents regarding student progress.
  • Uphold the Oxford Learning philosophy and create a fun, energetic learning environment.
  • Master and coach others in the Oxford Learning Teaching philosophy.

Requirements

Education: Minimum university degree and strong secondary school mathematics skills. Additional language skills are a plus.

Experience: Experience in an educational setting with medium to large student bodies, familiarity with billing cycles, strong computer and communication skills, and customer service experience (sales experience preferred).
