About the Data Analyst Role at Overwolf (Tebex)
We're looking for a Data Analyst to join Tebex’s data guild, playing a crucial role in shaping data-driven decisions across the company. This position is central to our analytics ecosystem, transforming raw data into reliable insights that guide product development, growth strategies, and overall company direction.
You will engage directly with large-scale datasets, constructing robust models, designing clear dashboards, and converting intricate information into actionable clarity. Responsibilities
- Integrate and model data from diverse sources into the company’s data lake to support advanced analysis and accurate reporting.
- Develop scalable and robust data solutions, including DAGs, comprehensive documentation, and well-structured dimensions, facts, and aggregations.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of data across pipelines, models, and outputs.
- Build and maintain business-entity-centered models and data marts that effectively support decision-making processes.
- Design and deliver clear, visually appealing, and user-friendly dashboards using tools like Tableau and Redash.
- Provide actionable, data-driven insights to enable Tebex stakeholders to significantly drive growth and improve performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Champion a data-driven culture by empowering teams to confidently explore, trust, and utilize data.
- Maintain data integrity, identifying anomalies, resolving data issues, and ensuring insights are derived from clean and reliable inputs.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, with practical experience in building scalable data solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, optimization techniques, and data modeling within a cloud-based data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
- Demonstrated experience working within payment-focused environments such as fintech, payment processors, banks, or e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse and data lake architectures, including fact and dimension modeling and entity-based designs.
- Solid experience with data visualization and reporting tools; Tableau is essential, Redash is a beneficial advantage.
- Familiarity with ETL and ELT processes.
- Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a passion for data accuracy, validation, and quality.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real business problems using data.
- Excellent analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and an ownership mindset.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with ETL and ELT orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar DAG-based frameworks.
- Experience with predictive analytics and statistical modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines using low-code platforms like Rivery.
- Experience working with Redash.
