Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Outlier is looking for talented Lawyers and Legal experts to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This is a freelance opportunity that is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work when it suits you best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
  • Craft and answer questions related to the practice of law
  • Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses generated by AI models

Desirable Expertise

  • A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or equivalent degree in Law or Legal Studies
  • Experience working as a practicing lawyer or attorney
  • Ability to clearly communicate legal concepts in fluent English

Payment Details

Core project work is paid at rates ranging from $75 to $105 per hour. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Non-core work, such as initial onboarding or project overtime, may have lower rates, and certain projects offer incentive payments.
