About the Freelance AI Engineer Role at Outlier
We are seeking skilled developers to join our expert network and contribute to projects focused on enhancing AI-generated code. In this role, you will play a crucial part in reviewing and refining AI code outputs, writing and editing programming content, creating prompts, and providing structured feedback. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced programmers who enjoy tackling technical challenges and contributing to cutting-edge AI development.
Note: This is a Part time (Freelance) role requiring 20 Hours/Week Availability. We are looking for amazing minds from Tier 1 Institutes (IIT's, BITS) and Tier 1 Companies with more than 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated code outputs for accuracy, efficiency, and best practices.
- Write and edit programming content, including explanations, examples, and documentation.
- Develop clear and effective prompts for AI code generation models.
- Provide detailed and structured feedback to improve AI performance and output quality.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Coding Ability: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, Ruby, Go).
- Computer Science Background: A solid foundation in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Independence & Reliability: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Technical Setup: Reliable internet connection and a personal laptop.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with code reviews or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) concepts.
