About the Role

The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at ŌURA empowers users by ensuring the reliability and scalability of the Oura Cloud Platform on AWS infrastructure. Working with a global team distributed across the EU and US, you will lead efforts to build, migrate, and monitor our cloud services while ensuring top-notch operational standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead productizing the shared Oura Cloud Platform for feature squads.
  • Build Infrastructure as Code and migrate existing services to best practices.
  • Develop tooling, observability, and fault-tolerance in cloud constructs.
  • Produce high-quality documentation and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Work with AWS services including EKS, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, S3, and SQS.

Your Profile

You have architected and built data-intensive distributed systems and can design secure, scalable platforms. Proficient in TypeScript, Python, or Rust, you are experienced running production systems on AWS and have handled container orchestration using EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
