Overview

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking an Independent Living Sales Counselor as a key member of the Otterbein Marketing Team. The role focuses on guiding prospective residents and their families through the sales process from initial contact to admission, articulating the Otterbein value proposition and managing all sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the unique sales proposition and value of Otterbein.
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas including calls, appointments, tours, and admissions.
  • Develop and execute detailed sales plans for prospective residents.
  • Manage and maintain the leads/contact database.
  • Conduct campus tours, home visits, luncheons, and sales calls.
  • Represent Otterbein at public functions and marketing events.
  • Address inquiries on financial and admission requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales or management experience, preferably in a retirement community or residential sales.
  • BS in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Passion for serving older adults and mission-driven values.
