Overview
Otak is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to join our Water and Natural Resources team in our Redmond or Everett office. This role supports urban stormwater retrofit, green infrastructure, river restoration, fish passage, flood hazard mitigation and more.
Responsibilities
Manage multidisciplinary teams and project delivery focused on stormwater infrastructure, fish passage, river restoration, and flood mitigation projects across Puget Sound. Prepare technical reports, floodplain and watershed studies, hydrologic and hydraulic design reports, and construction documents. Guide staff in design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets. Participate in strategy meetings and support client development and proposal activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 8 years experience in project management/engineering in stream/river restoration. Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Expertise in using SWMM, HSPF, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D or similar models along with Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and/or AutoCAD. Strong communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
