Overview

Join Oscar Medical Group as a Physician in our Virtual Urgent Care team. This part-time role involves providing virtual, evidence-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members using audio, video, and written communication.

About the Role

You will deliver high quality, compassionate care to patients in a remote setting. You will work closely with care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and behavioral health clinicians.

Available Shifts

  • Monday & Saturday: 1pm - 11pm EST
  • Tuesday & Sunday: 8am - 6pm EST
  • Friday & Sunday: 1pm - 11pm EST
  • Thursday & Saturday: 9am - 7pm EST

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality virtual patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice leads
  • Use remote exam tools and follow up on diagnostic tests
  • Participate in team meetings and huddles
  • Support improvement in operational workflows and product features
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited program
  • Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)
  • 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or ED experience
  • 2+ years in virtual care/telemedicine
  • Licensed in Tennessee and/or Missouri or eligible for a compact license

Bonus Points

  • Willingness to obtain additional licensure in select states
  • Spanish fluency
