Overview
Join Oscar Medical Group as a Physician in our Virtual Urgent Care team. This part-time role involves providing virtual, evidence-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members using audio, video, and written communication.
About the Role
You will deliver high quality, compassionate care to patients in a remote setting. You will work closely with care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and behavioral health clinicians.
Available Shifts
- Monday & Saturday: 1pm - 11pm EST
- Tuesday & Sunday: 8am - 6pm EST
- Friday & Sunday: 1pm - 11pm EST
- Thursday & Saturday: 9am - 7pm EST
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality virtual patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice leads
- Use remote exam tools and follow up on diagnostic tests
- Participate in team meetings and huddles
- Support improvement in operational workflows and product features
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited program
- Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)
- 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or ED experience
- 2+ years in virtual care/telemedicine
- Licensed in Tennessee and/or Missouri or eligible for a compact license
Bonus Points
- Willingness to obtain additional licensure in select states
- Spanish fluency
