Role Overview - Content Engineer

As a Content Engineer at Orkes, you will craft high-impact technical content that educates, engages, and empowers our developer community. You will break down complex technical concepts into clear, concise and compelling narratives while showcasing real-world use cases, best practices, and advanced features. Your work will drive organic growth and adoption of the Orkes Conductor ecosystem.

Your Day-to-day At Orkes

  • Research, write, and publish 1-2 in-depth technical blogs or tutorials per week.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Product teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.
  • Advocate for the reader ensuring educational and insightful content.
  • Act as an evangelist for Orkes through talks, webinars, online workshops, and developer events.
  • Contribute to content strategy by developing formats like videos, case studies, guides, and technical documentation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualities That Will Help You Succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Developer Advocacy, or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to simplify technical topics.
  • A developer’s mindset with comfort around code, APIs, and technical documentation.
  • A passion for education, storytelling, and high-quality output under tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills to balance multiple projects effectively.

You Will Have a Fast Start If

  • You have hands-on experience in workflow orchestration and enterprise automation solutions.
  • You understand the Orkes Conductor ecosystem and its place in the automation landscape.
  • You naturally translate technical learnings into clear, educational content.
