We are seeking a Senior AWS Solution Architect with a strong foundation in application development and enterprise cloud architecture. This role is pivotal in leading the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS solutions, while also driving cloud strategy, innovation, and team capability building. It combines deep hands-on AWS expertise with a strong understanding of modern application architectures, DevOps practices, and effective client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AWS architectural roadmap and strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Define and implement best practices for AWS architecture design, deployment, and operations.
• Design highly available, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions meeting business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and business units, to align AWS solutions with organizational goals.
• Analyse complex technical issues, provide recommendations, and lead the resolution efforts for AWS-related challenges.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Build capabilities, offerings, service accelerators and differentiators.
• Build a go-to-market strategy that highlights our cloud offerings that best support our customers' challenges.
• Drive innovation and thought leadership through white papers, blogs, presentations, and collaterals.
• Responsible for delivering solutions architecture for major clients.
• Manage client relationships (both pre-sales & post-sales), acting as a trusted advisor to client CIO/CTOs.
• Play an active role in winning business through pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Build and grow relationships with AWS and alliance partners to expand offerings and revenues.
• Build relationships with key client decision makers and influences in partnership with sales and marketing.
• Deliver superior value and conduct project reviews.
• Enable teams to deliver better value in projects.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and clear direction to the team, taking ownership for building AWS capability within the organization.
• Improve architecture skills across all team members and ensure team satisfaction through continuous engagement and career progression support.

Skills & Experience

• Expertise in designing high-level, enterprise-grade solution architecture.
• Ability to manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues.
• Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical backgrounds.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional certification is required.
