About Origin
Origin is the first personal AI financial advisor for everyone. It aims to democratize access to world-class financial expertise by integrating personalized AI-driven advice into everyday financial decisions. The Role: Staff Product Designer
Your mission at Origin is to design intuitive, AI-driven experiences that transform user insights and complex financial data into actionable recommendations. You will lead an end-to-end design process that involves research, benchmarking, and high-fidelity design implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver AI-driven user experiences.
- Translate research insights, user behavior data, and AI capabilities into clear design solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that simplify complex financial data.
- Develop polished, high-fidelity visual designs in line with brand standards.
- Advocate for intuitive UX to empower users with actionable insights.
- Partner with developers to ensure design accuracy and seamless implementation.
- Plan and conduct usability tests and refine designs based on user feedback.
- Communicate design rationale to stakeholders aligning with business goals.
- Maintain design systems and documentation for product consistency.
- Drive innovation in using AI for financial insights.
Must Have
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Design or HCI.
- 5+ years of product design experience with high-quality digital products.
- Experience in fintech or data-rich environments, especially with AI and insights.
- Strong strategic product thinking and user-centered design skills.
- Proven design process including research, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Ability to work independently and in a remote setting effectively.
- Fluent or native English proficiency.
