Position Overview

The Bank Systems Analyst is a key member of the technology team at Oregon Coast Bank. This role bridges business stakeholders and the technology department, ensuring the bank's core and ancillary systems meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Analysis & Design: Analyze business requirements, translate needs into functional specifications, and document system configurations.
  • Implementation & Project Management: Lead or support system implementations, planning, UAT, training, and go-live activities.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with vendors.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure system configurations comply with banking regulations and audit standards.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Create reports and analyze system data to support decision-making.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain system documentation and conduct end-user training.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years as a systems or business analyst in financial services. Hands-on experience with core banking platforms (Fiserv, Jack Henry, Finastra, FIS) and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is required. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Tableau) is a plus.

Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Physical & Work Environment: Ability to work on-site, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and available for extended or off-hour work during critical events.
