What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide clerical support for Social Work and Care Coordination and Utilization Management Departments, including answering phones and managing voicemail
- Communicate new patient information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain departmental files related to HR requirements, correspondence, reports, and memos
- Inventory and manage departmental supplies, preparing and submitting requisitions and purchase orders
- Attend staff meetings, taking and distributing minutes as required
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma required; college courses preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative/secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong writing and typing skills, along with computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively while handling a fluctuating workload
