About the Role & Team

Join our HomeLAN team, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating a software solution that manages around 11 million Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) devices. The Analytics team within HomeLAN focuses on data collection, storage, processing, and providing operational and business dashboards. As data volumes grow, we need to optimize our overall data processing capabilities.

What You'll Do

As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with the Analytics team to develop and enhance our analytics platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Writing data processing scripts.
• Orchestrating and organizing scripts to generate required results.
• Acquiring, ingesting, and processing data from multiple sources.
• Designing and implementing data engineering processes using ETL tools, Spark jobs, and SQL.
• Processing both structured and unstructured data.
• Aligning with customer development teams on interfaces and solutions.
• Conducting performance testing for implemented solutions.
• Applying Information Security standards and best practices.
• Maintaining technical skills and collaborating with the technical community.

What You'll Need

• Significant experience with large data sets, preferably telecom data.
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience in data warehouse solutions.
• Experience in ETL process design and data flow optimization.
• Proficiency in Python (pySpark).
• Experience with Apache Spark (streaming and batch) and Kafka.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and working with structured/unstructured data.
• Experience with BI reporting tools like Grafana.
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems.
• 3 years of experience in development, service integration, or systems acceptance.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience tuning complex DWH/BI environments.
• Bash scripting skills.
• Experience in software architecture, packaging, and versioning.
• Familiarity with automation deployment tools (Chef, Ansible).
• Experience with Oozie or Airflow.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (GCP).
• Java and SQL scripting experience.
• French language proficiency.
