Senior Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric

Your Role

Microsoft Fabric is Microsoft's new SaaS data platform. As a cutting-edge technological offering, it provides a unified experience from data integration to modeling and reporting, centered around the 'Power BI culture' while defining itself as the 'One Drive for Data'. Expertime was the first French partner to evangelize this technology through Microsoft's Fabric in a Day events. As a Data Engineer specializing in Microsoft Fabric H/F, you will be involved in projects that address clients' data exploitation challenges, including:

• Analyzing and qualifying clients' business needs and issues.
• Participating in the definition and implementation of Data solutions adapted to project contexts.
• Collaborating with Business teams in their data identification and documentation efforts.
• Collaborating with Consultants and Data Specialists on projects, ensuring the quality of their work and deliverables.
• Contributing across all data activity domains: BI & Analytics, Big Data, Data Science & AI.
• Working cross-functionally with other expertise areas (UX/UI, software and technical architects, cloud and DevOps experts) to design and deliver the most adapted and performant solutions.
• Working in an agile environment and championing innovative approaches.

In parallel: You will contribute to upskilling collaborators and act as the interface between business teams (internal and external). Your Profile

A true Data enthusiast, graduated from an engineering school, with over 8 years of experience in IT, in a senior Data and Microsoft environment (Team Lead, Architect, or Senior Consultant).

• Proficiency in On-Premise and Cloud Data architectures, SQL, an ETL tool (Azure Data Factory or others), and Data Visualization.
• Experience with Fabric projects.
• Proficiency in Cloud security, Infrastructure, and network issues.
• Design, modeling, and database optimization.
• Knowledge of the Azure, MSBI, SQL Server environment, or AI concepts (Python, R or Machine Learning).

You enjoy continuous learning through self-training, technological watch, courses, or participation in Tech community events. Your curiosity drives you to conduct daily technological watch. You are open to exchanges, capable of understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements. Your client relationship skills are consistently highlighted professionally. You enjoy working in a team while being autonomous in your roles. You like to work on multiple projects simultaneously with different teams. You have at least technical English proficiency (reading/writing documents in English). You are comfortable with written and oral communication, demonstrating pedagogical skills and relational adaptability to persuade.
