Your Role as Manager Data Science & Generative AI

Reporting to the Data Pole Manager of the Consulting & Expertise agency for the Grand Ouest region within Orange Business, you will lead multiple missions as a Manager Data Science & Generative AI. The Consulting & Expertise agency is a cross-functional entity at the regional level, exclusively composed of Managers and Experts.

Your responsibilities, based on the agency's five pillars, will include:

Consulting and Delivery Missions

• Conceive and build projects using various elements: one or more Cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) and associated services (Microsoft Fabric, VertexAI); DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps principles; and one or more languages/tools/services around Generative AI (Python, OpenAI, LangGraph, Qdrant, OpenWebUI).
• Advise on solution selection and algorithm creation, including costing and analyzing functional and technical impacts.

Team Coordination and Expert Animation

• Coordinate teams and provide support to consultants.
• Actively contribute to agency projects, enhancing its influence, capitalizing on expertise, and sharing best practices.
• Support Experts and Consultants through co-animation of our community or organizing internal events.
• Participate in individual follow-up of employees.
• Listen to employees, addressing their questions, interests, training needs, or career evolutions.
• Drive skill development and certification attainment for our Data Science and AI offerings across the entire region.
• Contribute to the recruitment of pole teams.

Presales Support

• Identify commercial opportunities from the projects you will be involved in.
• Accompany sales teams during qualifications and responses to calls for tenders.
• Contribute to the coherence and regional deployment of partnerships with AI technological partners.

Innovation

• Participate in the creation of regional or national offers.
• Ensure constant technological watch and propose updated or new Orange Business offers.

Evangelization

• Contribute and represent Orange Business at various events: internal and external webinars and trade shows.

Your Profile

You should hold a Bac+5 IT degree and have at least 8 years of experience in consulting and implementing data and AI projects. You have a strong interest in Generative AI topics and are recognized for your leadership and ability to build connections within your team. You possess a strategic vision and can make decisions to drive growth and achieve objectives. You demonstrate autonomy and initiative in all assigned tasks. You wish to participate in the transfer of technical and functional knowledge to colleagues and clients. You have significant experience in developing and animating a commercial offer, enjoy teamwork, and have a strong capacity for adaptation. Your team spirit will facilitate your integration into the Data pole of the Consulting & Expertise agency.
