Overview
As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, the Weblogic Administration role focuses on delivering post-sales support and solutions while advocating for customer needs. You will resolve customer inquiries and provide technical troubleshooting for Oracle products, including WebLogic Server administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-sales support through phone and electronic communication.
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries and escalated issues.
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle WebLogic Server with expert knowledge.
- Troubleshoot WebLogic issues including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Interface with customer IT staff to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
- Utilize independent judgment in a dynamic, 24X7 support environment.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred along with 7+ years working as an Oracle WebLogic Administrator, Consultant, or Support Engineer. Additional certifications in Oracle WebLogic, SOA, and OCI are preferred. Optional skills include Docker, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
