About the Undergrad Site Reliability Engineer Role
This FTE conversion requisition is ONLY for current Oracle PD interns (non-OCI) to be rehired for full-time roles. Intended for students graduating with their Bachelor's degree by, or within 12 months of, the cohort start date in June/July 2026.
Target Start Date: early-June or mid-July at the Oracle Cloud Service Center.
Role Overview
You will join Oracle Cloud Service Centre as an SRD (Site Reliability Developer) focused on ensuring the availability of cloud services 24x7x365. This role combines operations with development within a DevOps team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations:
- Administer production servers and monitor system health.
- Offer mitigation paths for system recovery.
- Utilize monitoring and alerting tools to pinpoint issues.
- Execute SOPs to reduce event impact.
- Participate in Incident Command training and on-call rotations.
Development:
- Fulfill internal tickets related to Oracle Cloud Platform management.
- Develop scripts for automation and cloud reliability enhancements.
- Participate in agile scrum processes and define sprint goals.
- Collaborate with other scrum teams to meet development objectives.
- Use tools for tracking key performance indicators.
What You’ll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent field (by August 2026), strong communication and presentation skills, technical aptitude, passion for development, and a proactive attitude. U.S. residency or current enrollment in a U.S. university with the ability to obtain work authorization in 2026 is required.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum 3.0 GPA.

Additional Information
Some US customer or client-facing roles may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates. Salary range in the US is from 51,200 to 99,900 USD per year, with eligibility for bonus and equity. Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to inclusivity.
