Infrastructure Preparation and Documentation

Assist in creating and maintaining network rack patch matrices. Document cable paths, labeling standards, and port assignments. Develop and manage spreadsheets for rack labels including formatting, review, and printing. Verify rack layouts for accuracy against design plans.

Cabling and Build Standards

Ensure cabling work aligns with company installation and quality standards. Support consistent build practices across data center projects and provide complete documentation to operations teams.

Project Coordination

Collaborate with project managers to clarify scope, required materials, and review bills of materials. Coordinate with vendors to align on expectations, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor material delivery schedules, track project milestones, and escalate potential delays while ensuring quality and compliance before handover.

Vendor and Onsite Management

Support onsite vendor activities for infrastructure builds. Attend pre-deployment meetings, validate work completion with inspections, and assist in resolving onsite issues during project walkthroughs.

Workflow and Tools Management

Manage deployment tasks using project tracking systems. Track rack delivery, installation, and quality assurance while ensuring proper configuration and monitoring of the Ticket System. Verify physical layouts match documented floor plans.

Deployment and Troubleshooting

Support network and software setup during site activations. Assist in troubleshooting cabling and connectivity issues and participate in project war room meetings to maintain deadlines and quality standards.

Multi-Project Management

Coordinate deployments for multiple concurrent projects including new builds and expansions. Collaborate across regions to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently.

Travel

Up to 75% travel required, covering North America and possibly Latin America.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years in data center infrastructure or related field
• Network Certifications preferred
• Expertise in rack installation, cabling, and build processes
• Strong documentation, workflow management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination abilities
