About Oracle Cloud Infrastructure IAM Role
At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we’re building the future of cloud for enterprises, powered by a diverse team of creators and innovators. As a Sr Principal Software Developer OCI IAM, you will provide technical leadership for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, architecting, designing, building, and operating highly distributed, secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable cloud-native identity services.
- Drive engineering best practices and mentor engineers across teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to influence technical direction and product strategy.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical services.
- Champion operational excellence through proactive monitoring, testing, and incident response.
- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, 10+ years of software development experience, strong programming skills in Java, Go, C# or similar, experience with high-scale distributed services, and experience in cloud infrastructure and system design.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain expertise in IAM with experience in OCI, AWS, Azure; familiarity with multi-region deployments, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), threat modeling, secure development practices, and compliance frameworks like FedRAMP and PCI DSS.
