Role Description

As a Software Development Manager - OCI, you will lead a team responsible for managing tenancy lifecycle at scale. You will be a strategic leader managing a dedicated software team, driving cloud-native distributed systems and ensuring service excellence with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software development tasks including architecture, design, and debugging.
  • Own and scale a highly available OCI service.
  • Provide strategic leadership to a diverse engineering team.
  • Drive execution of the service roadmap and project delivery.
  • Engage in hands-on management addressing production issues and escalations.
  • Monitor service health using KPI metrics and operational tools.
  • Champion Agile development practices in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams on large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native distributed systems and public cloud platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with production operations and quality code practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams delivering successful large-scale products.
  • Experience with migration tools and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.
