Overview
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Software Development Director to lead critical infrastructure initiatives in the Networking organization. In this role, you will drive design, delivery, and operational excellence of key infrastructure components while mentoring and growing a high-caliber team.
Responsibilities
As the Director in OCI, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a dedicated team through the full life cycle of infrastructure projects.
- Driving software development tasks including design, debugging, and enhancements.
- Ensuring long-term infrastructure stability and scalability.
- Establishing measurable performance goals and monitoring progress.
- Fostering talent development and mentoring team members.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BS or MS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of people management and large-scale service management experience.
- Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization.
- Strong background in Networking, Data Center Operations, and Cloud computing.
- Experience with Distributed Systems, IoT, network monitoring and automation.
