The HDI AI Platform Team

You will be part of the HDI AI Platform team. A platform for AI/ML Model development, Generative AI driven applications and ML ops. These models and applications leveraging AI/ML, are embedded as features in Oracle Health products, delivering actionable intelligence within familiar workflows to clients.

What You’ll Do as a Software Developer 2

• Design, development, and optimization of AI/ML platform/pipelines/services at scale leveraging OCI.
• Contribute to technical architecture/design for the AI platform team.
• Balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like ops documentation, ops automation, structured logging, instrumentation for metrics and events.
• Participate in on-call for the services within the team and resolve issues, when they arise.

Qualifications

To succeed in this Software Developer 2 role, you should possess the following key qualifications:

• Experienced in Java and Python.
• Prior AI/ML engineering industry experience.
• Experience with AI Agents or LLM or RAG is a significant advantage.
• Prior experience working on distributed systems at a cloud service provider.
• Prior experience working with at least one relational or a NoSQL database.
• Experienced at building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
• Familiar with components of modern infrastructure like service discovery, secret storage, software-defined networking, etc.
• Experience with production operations and good practices for putting quality code in production and solve issues when they arise.
• Takes initiative and is responsible for delivering complex software by working effectively with the team and other partners.
• Comfortable communicating technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations).

Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. The hiring range in USD for this role is $68,500 - $158,200 per year and may be eligible for bonus and equity.
