Job Summary
The Snr Staff Clinical Consultant is a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team including providers, nurses, and pharmacists. This role blends clinical expertise, leadership, informatics, change management, and data science to enhance patient care, improve EHR system satisfaction, and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Integration: Integrate and sustain the EHR system with the Pharmacy Module.
- Technology Advocacy: Promote technology advancements to improve clinical practice.
- Leadership: Mentor diverse healthcare teams fostering collaboration.
- Change Management: Support transitions with new technologies and practices.
- Data Utilization: Leverage data science to optimize clinical processes.
Additional Responsibilities
- Optimize population-level pharmacist performance and workflow efficiency.
- Manage and analyze pharmacy data for insights and efficiency.
- Transfer high-level operational knowledge to staff and stakeholders.
- Bridge IT and clinical staff to align technological changes with clinical needs.
- Support on-site events for knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications
A Doctor in Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist with current licensure and 5+ years of experience is required. Proven experience with Oracle Health/Cerner Pharmacy module, project management, knowledge of healthcare policies, EHR systems, change management, and data analytics is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have certification in healthcare informatics, experience with EHR migration projects, federal healthcare experience, and retail pharmacy experience.
Additional Information
This role involves partnering with Oracle client clinical leadership to drive long-term performance improvements and design innovative solutions. Candidates should be capable of complex solution design and supporting business development efforts. Some roles may require compliance with specific US customer requirements such as immunization mandates.
Compensation & Benefits
US salary range from $97,500 to $199,500 per year with potential bonus and equity. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) matching, vacation, paid holidays, and additional perks.
