The Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization supports customer choice, transparency, and value with ambitious initiatives in new cloud services, high performance primitives, and innovative platforms.
Role Summary
This greenfield opportunity allows you to build and lead the OCI Performance team. As the Senior Software Development Manager, you will design and build new cloud services, establish internal KPIs, and lead distributed teams in creating high-performance, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define technical, product, operational, and organizational strategy for cloud services.
- Lead and grow a diverse, distributed team.
- Establish and improve engineering standards and processes.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Guide teams through architecture, security reviews and continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years at a senior management level.
- 5+ years in distributed systems or cloud services.
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Expertise in performance benchmarking and optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Oracle offers a competitive salary range, bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off. Compensation for US roles ranges from $118,300 to $251,600 per year, depending on experience and location.
