Role Overview

As a Senior Principal Site Reliability Engineer Architect — OCI-First, AIML Data Platform, you will tackle exciting technical challenges, influence the future of healthcare infrastructure, and work on key Oracle Health Core Platform products focused on reliability, scalability, and security in the cloud (OCI).

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage large-scale services while defining SLOs and runbooks.
  • Architect the platform by collaborating with app, data, Horizon, and ML teams.
  • Ensure operational excellence with performance analysis, DR testing, and security hardening.
  • Champion automation using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and progressive delivery methods.
  • Lead incident command and drive root cause analysis for systemic fixes.
  • Evaluate new OCI, Horizon, and AIML capabilities and demonstrate value through POCs.

Responsibilities

Define and govern OCI reference architectures including networking, security, and observability. Drive platform roadmaps and operate Kubernetes/OKE platforms with CI/CD integrations. Establish SLIs/SLOs and implement comprehensive observability solutions. Lead cloud networking strategies and architect AIML platform capabilities along with near-real-time analytics paths. Automate operations and lead migrations to OCI while mentoring senior engineers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 12–15+ years in SRE/DevOps/Platform/Software Engineering.
  • Expertise in OCI cloud architecture and related technologies like Terraform, OKE/Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • Strong background in software development, SDLC, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with AIML platforms, near-real-time analytics, and Oracle Horizon.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Shell, Python, Java, and Node.js/npm.

First 90 Days

  • 30 Days: Complete onboarding and gain access to systems.
  • 60 Days: Assume ownership and start architecting solutions.
  • 90 Days: Deliver POCs, complete IaC modules, and prepare review checkpoints.
