Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle

As a Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle, you will operate independently, providing high-quality work products and applying expert judgment to implement Oracle products and technology. This role involves applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to document and validate their business requirements, map them to solution functionality, and configure/customize the Oracle NetSuite application to meet their business needs.
• Conduct sessions with customers via phone or in person, attend project meetings, and provide status updates on progress of activities and deliverables.
• Provide customers with as-needed consulting and general assistance, serving as a 'go-to' resource for specific functional areas.
• Contribute to the solutions repository/best practices and knowledge sharing activities, and participate in Subject Matter Expert programs.
• Adopt an agile approach to blend technology with business innovation, helping customers achieve success.
• Support the sales cycle through scoping of Professional Services engagements, executive-level prospect meetings, and solution reviews.
• Assist in expanding Professional Services sales’ installed base of existing customers, as well as present and promote the value of Oracle NetSuite Professional Services to prospective customers.
• Train and mentor more junior consulting staff.
• Lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
• Act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop skills of team members.
• Effectively consult with management of customer organizations.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Develop and lead detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of cumulative relevant experience, including significant ERP solution functional implementation and/or administration.
• Expertise in Products industry vertical-focused ERP solutions, with experience in the Manufacturing industries preferred.
• NetSuite platform solution experience strongly preferred; however, competing platforms will be considered.
• Consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong project and team leadership skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• NetSuite product certification a plus.
• English language read/write/speak proficiency.

Travel

Modest to moderate travel, as appropriate, is expected for this role.
