As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping groundbreaking AI solutions and transforming patient care in partnership with Oracle Cerner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design of scalable and reliable AI solutions.
  • Guide projects from research to full-scale production.
  • Influence strategic decisions at an executive level.
  • Collaborate with diverse, multinational teams.
  • Leverage breakthroughs in generative AI and deep learning.
  • Design, review, and mentor in AI solution development.
  • Develop production-level code and advocate best practices.
  • Participate in planning, reviews, and continuous improvements.
  • Identify risks and ensure alignment between business and engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have extensive experience designing and deploying scalable AI models, leading AI projects, and managing cross-functional teams. You should also have deep technical knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and generative AI including LLMs and related technologies, as well as a robust publication record in top-tier journals or conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare domain and familiarity with computer vision and multimodal modelling is highly valuable.

Education

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a Master’s or Bachelor's degree and significant experience will also be considered.
