We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff. You are technically strong, hands-on, and have a track record of delivering high-quality software. You understand that simple systems are easier to operate and troubleshoot. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements.

Responsibilities of a Senior Member of Technical Staff

• Help build the Light-weight Infrastructure, OCI's next-generation runtime for compute, networking, storage, telemetry, and governance, at the core of Autonomous OCI.
• Define and develop components for complex distributed and cloud-scale services.
• Work directly with technical leads to ensure new capabilities are built with the right design principles.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficient in at least one (preferably two) of the following languages: Java, C/C++, or Golang
• Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals)
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams
• Ready to learn and jump into new areas and domains
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus.
