Overview

Oracle is seeking a Senior Flexcube Technical Consultant. In this role, you will act as the critical link in helping banks modernize their core systems with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking, thereby enabling digital transformation in an evolving financial services landscape.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Flexcube Technical Consultant, you will:

  • Develop programs as per specifications provided by Oracle or the client
  • Use defined standards, tools, and processes to ensure quality deliverables
  • Document work according to agreed standards and processes
  • Coordinate with offshore teams on technical deliverables and client support
  • Adhere to change control processes and audit requirements
  • Ensure timely quality code delivery with proper handover and status reporting
  • Submit timesheets and follow all client procedures

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of core banking experience, preferably with FLEXCUBE
  • Sound knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL, Microservices, and Java
  • Experience with Rest Services and Netflix Conductor is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience in development, implementation, or production support
  • Strong skills in requirement gathering, design documentation, and quality standards
  • Experience in developing interfaces and supporting data migration and testing

Personal Attributes

Additional qualifications include:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic; French is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel for short or long term assignments
  • Based in Cairo
