Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Senior Engineer Data Warehouse SRE to enable 24x7 data pipeline operations in the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) product engineering organization. You will manage the uptime of services, ensure smooth execution of complex data pipelines, and support customers with reliable data for their downstream dependencies.

The role emphasizes early detection of anomalies and establishing mechanisms for rapid issue mitigation. It requires meeting EU Eligible Personnel requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data warehousing products and cloud BI applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL and excellent debugging skills.
  • Capabilities in troubleshooting network latency and analyzing log files.
  • Experience with ERP, HCM, CX applications (Oracle EBS or Fusion are a plus).
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Web Application Architecture and exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Experience in performance tuning SQL and managing ETL pipelines.
  • Strong problem resolution and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate FDI Data pipeline in a lights out mode.
  • Develop tools to detect and automate issue resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive automations.
  • Resolve customer issues within defined SLAs and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Enhance documentation through Knowledge Base updates and technical discussions.
  • Prioritize tasks based on severity and customer impact.

This role requires candidates to be located within the EU and have the right to work in an EU member state. Must possess valid EU-issued documents and be prepared to sign the Customer Data Protection Agreement.
