As a senior member of the Global Business Finance team, the Senior Director, OCI Finance - Platform Capex and Supply Chain will be responsible for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) capital forecasts, actuals, reporting, and associated cash flow forecasts. Reporting to the Vice President Finance Capex and Supply Chain, OCI, this role acts as a Finance Business Partner to OCI leadership, providing strategic financial modeling, analysis, and operational recommendations across end-to-end platform capex and supply chain requirements, including GPU procurement for LLM/AI initiatives. This position requires the ability to quickly grasp both the strategic overview and intricate details, leading projects across multiple teams and organizational levels.

Main Responsibilities

This role involves partnering with OCI teams to deliver valuable financial and business analysis, leading to accurate, insightful, and optimized capital and cash flow recommendations. You will monitor current capital spending categories, influencing decisions and performing 'what-if' scenarios to support strategic choices. Key deliverables include:

• Own financial planning and results for month-end close, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting, including reviews with finance and business partners.
• Collaborate and influence effectively across multiple organizations through strong partnerships.
• Identify, track, and report on cross-functional efficiencies, including capital and supply chain optimization, to improve current and future planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Preferred Skills & Experience

The Senior Director, OCI Finance - Platform Capex and Supply Chain candidate should possess extensive finance leadership experience, specifically in managing financial teams and exhibiting the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of finance experience; MBA preferred.
• Extensive background in capital expenditure (Capex) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with a forward-leaning approach to finance.
• Proven experience supporting capital forecasts, actuals, reporting, and cash flow is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of cloud and platform infrastructure capital and supply chain dynamics.
• Ability to engage senior leadership, discussing complex capital and financial concepts, translating them into business and financial terms for various audiences.
• Energetic and positive attitude with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
• A finance leader capable of being effective in a lean team environment with a large scope of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting.
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
• Upbeat and positive demeanor in the face of stress.
